This visual style emphasizes clean lines, neutral color palettes, simple geometric forms, and abundant open space. We recently created this through a dining setup designed for eight, which can easily transition from a buffet layout to a formal sit-down meal. It celebrates functionality and quality over clutter. We believe minimalism is a philosophy focused on essentials to prioritize what truly adds value, joy and purpose to your life. It is not about deprivation or owning nothing, but rather about removing distractions to create room for meaningful experiences and well-being.
Two key features of this space are a tapestry-style art piece placed directly on the wall along with a sleek unit, creating a balanced and sophisticated atmosphere. The unit is only meant for trays, platters, cutlery, glasses, coffee mugs, tea cups, tea pots, snack bowls, dessert bowls, jugs, trivets, napkins, runners, and table mats. Since it's only an eleven-inch-deep cabinet, dinner plates and larger dishes meant solely for lunches and dinners were not intended to be stored here. This arrangement prevents you from tiring yourself before a gathering by eliminating the need to walk back and forth from the kitchen for service, which also helps keep foot traffic out of the kitchen. Two consoles/side units on either side of the artwork are meant for buffet-style serving. Elegance is never overdone, it shouldn't look like a museum or a collection of art and sculptures you can't maintain. Walking the talk is important as there is much more you exchange on a table than in the room.
